Looks like getting hold of an EVAL copy of Server 2022 may be the best way forward. Powerful little machine that is more than capable of providing all the services they require in future - IF Server 2022 will install on it! If we can install Server 2022 on the hardware, we'll also upgrade the VMs on the machine (currently 5 of them) to Server 2022. To give you an example - one of our customers has an HP Gen8 360p rack server w/2 x E5-2667 v2 CPUs, 256GB memory and 8 x 10,000rpm SAS drives in RAID-0. My concern is whether Server 2022 can be installed on the older hardware as a Hypervisor.

Thanks for the replies - the servers I'm looking to upgrade are Hypervisors - typically running Server 2012 R2 that will soon need to be replaced.
